to get new knowledge on a subject
I first started learning web development when i had to take a course
on it for my college program, to me it felt out of the blue,
unrelated to what I was learning, and scary. Coding was for smart
people I believed. We started with html and css (then later
javascript) and I was surprised at how simple it was, and doing it
made me feel smart which was nice and made me feel interested in
learning it more. Even though I took a course on it I'm still kind
of a novice but I hope to get better at it.
If you're reading this congrats you're viewing the very first version of this site. [V1.0.0] This sites visual is inspired by the [Gen X Soft Club] aesthetic. I'm not great at website coding so I rely on a bunch of resources available (ahem borrowing a lot of code(only on resource pages i'm not stealing peoples code)) to try and execute my ideas to the best of my abilties and learning as I go. This site is a product of that so the code is a mess..., I chose to do this style because it looked cool but I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep this style consistant with what I have intended for this site. A total redo of the code is probably in order to make it more bareable adding more pages... sigh. But I wanted to atleast have something up for now.
